Feb 22, 2021 saw the kick-off of the Toastmasters Youth Leadership Program (YLP) in our school.<\/p>\n

Our alumna Ms Yammy CHEUNG Ho Yan, a seasoned Toastmasters International member, started the YLP for 13 F1 to F5 SKHTST students. Participating in the first meeting as evaluator and Table Topic Master were alumni Mr Damon FAN Shiu Pong and Ms Nancy JIANG Su, Vice Chairman and External Secretary of our Alumni Association Ltd respectively. A guest speaker from the Toastmasters International, Mr Ken FUNG, was the General Evaluator. Also hosting the YLP were our current English teacher Ms LAM Kit Shan and our former Vice Principal Mrs Anne TAM.<\/p>\n

As a learning community, students volunteered or were assigned different roles such as emcee, speakers of prepared or Table Topics (impromptu) speeches, secretaries of evaluators and facilitators (timer and ah-counter). Constance WONG was voted by all participants as The Best Prepared Speech Speaker and the Best Table Topic Speaker.<\/p>\n

All participants had a most exciting and precious learning experience in the First Meeting.<\/p>\n
