April 9, 2022 saw five alumni acting as adjudicators directing sharp and challenging questions at each pitcher at the Pitching Event for the Amity Apprentice Quest for Living Water 2022. It was indeed a global meeting for all as the five alumni were studying or working in different places in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Apprentice Program is a 3-month program co-organised by the <\/span>Amity Foundation, Hong Kong <\/b>(AFHK), <\/span>SKHTSTSS Alumni Association Ltd<\/b> (AA Ltd) and <\/span>SKHTST Career and Life Planning <\/b>(CLP) Committee starting March 18, 2022. All F4 and F5 students were invited to join <\/span>Stage 1 Individual Challenge<\/i><\/b> in which eight students with high-quality proposals were shortlisted to enter the Pitching Event to present their proposals and answer impromptu questions from adjudicators.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The three winning students would each receive a trophy and cash prizes, and would be assisted to set up a fundraising scheme through AFHK as well as promoting their quests on its website and social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The adjudicators were so impressed by all the students\u2019 fluency and confidence in pitching their quests in English that all pitchers were encouraged to continue with <\/span>Stage 2 Group Challenge<\/i><\/b> of the Quest on a <\/span>one-to-one mentorship with our adjudicators<\/b> to learn valuable life skills raising funds to help people in need.<\/span><\/p>\n

The online Pitching Event was well attended by our principal <\/span>Mr WANG Yu Tai<\/b> and the principal of SKH Bishop Hall Secondary School <\/span>Mr KAM Wai Ming<\/b>. Hosting the event were the AA Ltd advisor <\/span>Ms CHENG Yin Wo<\/b>, CLP teachers <\/span>Ms LAM Kit Shan<\/b>, <\/span>Ms WONG Wai Shan <\/b>(current vice principal), and <\/span>Mr CHAN Cheuk Fai<\/b> and former vice principal <\/span>Mrs Anne Tam <\/b>as well as the Amity staff. Observing the event was also <\/span>Justin LIU<\/b> (a primary 6 student) invited by AFHK and SKHTST to pilot the whole Quest before mid-March, 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
