Our 2025 Alumni Homecoming was a vibrant celebration of connection and shared
\nhistory, culminating in an insightful networking session and a festive dinner. The
\nevent provided a wonderful platform for graduates from all years to reconnect and
\nforge new professional bonds.
\nThe afternoon kicked off with the inaugural networking session of the Shiu Tim
\nAlumni Networking (STAN), an initiative to build a career-oriented platform for TST
\nalumni from all walks of life, foster the alumni bonding across generations, as well as
\nto facilitate the exchange of knowledge and resources.
\nThe session featured two inspiring talks on Whole-Person Development, given by
\nour former Principal Mr Anthony TONG and incoming Alumni Manager Mr Sunny
\nTANG. Our alumnus, Mr Elvis LAM, hosted the event and introduced our keynote
\nspeakers.<\/p>\n

Following the talks, the participants were treated to a dynamic and energetic yo-yo
\nperformance. The yo-yo team from\u00a0the Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service, a
\ngroup of talented primary school students took to the stage with captivating,
\nchoreographed manoeuvres.<\/p>\n

The performance perfectly set the stage for the free networking session, where
\nalumni continued their conversations, exchanged contact information, and enjoyed
\nlight refreshments.<\/p>\n

Following the afternoon’s Business Networking session and the AGM, the
\ncelebrations continued as alumni, alongside current and retired teachers and staff,
\ngathered for the much-anticipated Homecoming Dinner in the School Hall.
\nThe evening was formally opened by our host, incoming Alumni Manager Mr Sunny
\nTANG. The highlight of the opening was a special presentation by Principal Maggie
\nLAM, who offered an exciting glimpse into the upcoming\u00a050 th Anniversary
\nCelebrations. She shared visionary plans for campus renovations and a preview of
\nthe celebratory activities planned for the milestone year.
\nAdding a uniquely personal touch to the festivities, Principal LAM also generously
\nprepared and gifted four large trays of delicious desserts for everyone. The treats
\nwere a resounding hit, disappearing quickly once the dinner began!<\/p>\n

The dinner culminated in a heartfelt thanksgiving speech delivered by our
\nChairperson Matthew. He expressed the AA’s profound gratitude to the event
\nsponsors, dedicated student helpers, AA teacher advisors and Committee members,
\nand, most importantly, every alumna and alumnus who returned to make the event
\nso special.<\/p>\n

The 2025 Alumni Homecoming was a powerful demonstration of our community’s
