Our school proudly delegated five dance teams to the 61st Schools Dance Festival (第61屆學校舞蹈節) this year, organised by the Hong Kong Schools Dance Association Limited (香港學界舞蹈協會）. By showcasing exceptional dance talents throughout the Festival, our dance teams achieved remarkable success. We secured two Highly Commended Awards (甲級獎）, a Commended Award（乙級獎）, two Honours Awards（優等獎）, and a Choreography Award（編舞獎）. We were also honoured with the Group Merit Award in the Jazz and Street Dance category.

Congratulations to all the award-winning students! We wholeheartedly express our heartfelt gratitude to Principal Lam（林美儀校長）, Ms Chan Yuen Ting（陳婉婷老師）, and our dedicated dance instructors Ms Yuen（阮芷暐老師）, Ms Po （卜白鸝老師）and Ms Liu (廖敏妮老師）for their unwavering support and guidance in helping our Dance Club attain outstanding accomplishments. The awardees are listed as follows:

1. Jazz and Street Dance

Solo: Yuen Wing In (5C) garnered the Highly Commended Award (甲級獎） for her original dance piece, “The Resonance of Heart”.

 

Duet: Leung Ka Yan (5C) and Yuen Wing In (5C) clinched the Highly Commended Award （甲級獎）for their original dance piece, “Twins (雙胞胎) ”.

 

Jazz and Street Dance Team (Basic): The team earned the Commended Award (乙級獎) for their dance piece, “Gen Z”.
