From 19 June to 23 June 2026, our school successfully organised a voluntary service and cultural exchange programme to Seoul, bringing together 30 students from Form 3 to Form 5.

Youth Centre Visit

Our students visited a local youth centre, where they organised a series of engaging educational activities. They designed an innovative English lesson that combined vocabulary learning with drawing. After teaching terms used to describe different emotions, our students guided the children in painting mini fans that reflected those feelings. The interactive session was a resounding success, bringing immense joy to the participants.

Community Cleanup

Collaborating with local volunteers, our students participated in a community cleanup initiative. This valuable experience allowed them to engage in meaningful communication with the local volunteers and gain deeper insights into their community service methodologies.

Care Centre Visit

We paid a meaningful visit to a residential care facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities. To express our care and support, our students presented the residents with special souvenirs brought from Hong Kong, spreading warmth and cross-cultural friendship.

DMZ & Defector Dialogue

To gain a profound understanding of the historical context of the Korean Peninsula, we visited the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ). A highlight of the visit was having a personal dialogue with North Korean defectors. Listening firsthand to their life stories allowed our students to develop a deep respect for their resilience and historical experiences.

Cultural Experiences

The programme also featured diverse cultural immersion activities. Our students had the opportunity to try on Hanbok (traditional Korean attire) and participate in a culinary workshop to cook authentic local dishes.
