We are thrilled to celebrate the recent achievements of our school Scrabble Team, who demonstrated exceptional vocabulary and strategic prowess across two major competitions in January 2026.

Congratulations to Huang Anhe Slimont (1D) (right), who clinched the Best New Player Award at the January Youth Scrabble Training Match organised by the Hong Kong Scrabble Players Association on 24 January. Prior to the competition, Slimont attended an exclusive workshop for elite players. Led by the professional Singaporean Guest Speaker Mr. Liew Kian Boon, the workshop gave Slimont invaluable insights before competing with top players from across Hong Kong. Slimont’s dedication paid off as he secured an impressive three wins out of five matches.

On 31 January, our team, including Guo Chin Wang James (5D) (from left in the photo), Lo Ying Tung Elise (3A), Mak Chi Lam (1D) and Wong Chun Yin Sunny (1A), once again brought glory to the school at the 8th Joint-School Scrabble Tournament for Novices. We are proud to announce the following individual awards:
– Wong Chung Yin Sunny (1A): 2nd Runner-up
– Lo Ying Tung Elise (3A): 7th Place
Under the leadership of our Scrabble Team Chairperson James, our team showcased remarkable strategic skills during the tournament. The team’s success is a testament to their hard work and the invaluable guidance provided by our tutors, including Fung Tsz Hin, Ho Fai Yeung, and Cheyenne Wong. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the tutors for their unwavering support and congratulate all participants on their remarkable achievements!
