本校4B班林啟銘同學和4C班蕭皓天同學於2016年7月9日參加由香港理工大學電子計算學系和香港電腦教育學會合辦的「Computer App Programming (CAP 2016) 電腦應用程式比賽」，他們在其中「即日解難比賽(高中組)」獲得季軍，獲大會頒發獎杯、獎狀，獎牌和銅帽。
