More than 3,000 students from more than 20 provinces (urban areas), Hong Kong and Macau teams gathered in Beijing to showcase their innovative power to the public. The activity emphasizes the “student’s innovation, creativity and making” as the main content, and strives to combine science, technology, engineering and art to cultivate the ability of young people to comprehensively apply knowledge and creatively solve problems through real tasks.
The future engineer activity is a major project of the “National Science and Technology Week” in Beijing. In order to guide the young people to actively participate in the practice of science and technology innovation, and to cultivate a strong interest in science, the event has been held for 13 consecutive sessions. This year, the “Future Engineers” Expo was organized by the National Institute of Education Sciences, the China Science and Technology Exchange Center, and the Hong Kong STEM Education Alliance.
