On May 25th, 2023, F.6 graduates, parents, teachers, and alumni gathered to commemorate our 41st Speech Day cum 45th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Guest of Honour, The Most Revd Andrew Chan, Archbishop and Primate of HKSKH, who served both the officiant and the preacher at the service. We were also honoured to have the IMC Chairman, Prof. Chan Ho Yin Edwin, and other IMC members, representatives from the Tsang Family, principals from neighbouring schools, our former principal and vice-principal, members of the Alumni Association, SKH Holy Spirit Church, Shatin Anglican Church, and community organizations in the Shatin District in attendance. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of our honourable guests for joining us on this momentous day and their contributions to the success of the event.
Heartfelt thanks and appreciation should also be extended to all the students who delivered outstanding choral and orchestral performances during the event. Their exceptional musical talents contributed greatly to the triumph of the celebration.
During the ceremony, 6C Lai Ching Yau and 6D Mok Chun Hei delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing their sincere gratitude towards their alma mater, teachers, parents, alumni and fellow schoolmates. In their captivating speech, they took the attendees down the memory lane, reflecting on their journey from F.1 newcomers to F.6 graduates, and highlighting the numerous fulfilling learning experiences they have had along the way.
The Speech Day marked the grand finale of our F.6 graduates’ journey at TST, and it was a resounding success thanks to the blessings of the Lord and the hard work of everyone in the TST family. We extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to all the graduates as they embark on a new and exciting chapter in their lives. May they continue to shine and make a positive impact in society.
