Parents Talk on "Positive Education: Discovering Hidden Treasures"

The Parent-Teacher Association, together with the Career and Life Planning Committee, co-organized the second session of the Parent Academy, which was successfully completed on 16 March 2024 (Saturday). The theme of this session was “Positive Education: Discovering Hidden Treasures”.

We would like to express our gratitude to the speakers from Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service for sharing with parents four positive techniques, namely “appreciation,” “guidance,” “encouragement,” and “affirmation” through games, case studies and practices on using positive language skills on the spot.

Through the seminar, parents have learned the importance and methods of enhancing positive and effective communication between themselves and their children, thereby guiding their children towards positive thinking.

Additionally, during the two sessions of the Parent Academy, the Parent-Teacher Association distributed 20 books in each session, encouraging parents to understand and value “positive thinking” in order to foster a harmonious and joyful family life.
