We are delighted to share the excellent achievements of our school’s Orienteering Team in the Hong Kong Inter-school Orienteering Championships 2025/26, held in February and March 2025. Through their perseverance, teamwork and determination, our students delivered an impressive performance and brought great honour to the school.

Beyond the Inter-school Orienteering Championships, our team members participated enthusiastically in a number of competitions throughout the year and continued to attain commendable results. We are pleased to highlight some of their notable accomplishments below.
BOC Life Wild in the City Orienteering Challenge 2026
On 25th January 2026, 24 students forming eight teams took part in the BOC Life Wild in the City Orienteering Challenge 2026, organised by the Hong Kong Award for Young People. Working in teams of two to four, participants applied their navigation skills and teamwork by using the orienteering map provided by the organiser to locate checkpoints on foot or by public transport. Within a time limit of either three or six hours, our students successfully reached as many as 65 checkpoints across Kowloon. Their enthusiastic participation and admirable perseverance led to several prize-winning performances, as listed below.

27th Mr. Paddy Birney Memorial Score Event
Our team members also participated in the 27th Mr. Paddy Birney Memorial Score Event, organised by the Orienteering Association of Hong Kong, China, with 12 students forming six teams. Competing in pairs on Lamma Island, they visited checkpoints on foot within a time limit of two hours to score points. We are proud that all teams completed the challenge successfully, with one team capturing the Championship.
