Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team Coordination Centre (HKCERT) and the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) jointly hosted the first “Hong Kong Cyber Security New Generation Capture the Flag (CTF) Challenge 2020” (香港網絡保安新生代奪旗挑戰賽2020) from 6:00 pm, 6 November 2020 to 6:00 pm, 8 November 2020. Lasting for 48 hours, the contest aimed to arouse students’ cyber security awareness, foster their problem-solving skills, creative thinking and cyber security skills through teamwork, with questions covering the following areas:
– Web Exploitation
– Forensics
– Reverse Engineering
– Cryptography
– Emoclew
– Miscellaneous
Among the 84 competing teams from 37 secondary schools, our school ranked 5th and captured the “Certificate of Merit” Award in the contest.
