We are immensely proud to announce the outstanding success of our English Drama Club at this year’s EMI English Drama Fest, organised by The Association of English Medium Secondary Schools. Our students rose to the occasion with brilliance, passion, and incredible linguistic flair!
Our production was a true showcase of teamwork, linguistic flair, and creative storytelling. The adjudicators were highly impressed, honouring our team with a total of five major awards:
Group Awards
- Outstanding Script Writing: A tribute to our team’s creativity and ability to craft a compelling narrative.
- Commendable Overall Performance: Recognising the synergy between our actors, directors, and backstage crew.
- Commendable Award for Spoken English: A testament to our students’ dedication to articulacy and expressive communication.
Individual Awards
Special recognition goes to two of our stars whose performances left a lasting impression on the panel:
- Outstanding Supporting Actor: Chan Pui Kai (3A), for a technically impressive and charismatic portrayal of Gen V2.1b.
- Star Performer: Chan Yu Sum (2B), for a deeply resonant and commanding performance in the role of Mom.
