Congratulations to HO Mei Yee Ruby (F.5C) for being awarded the Best Manner Speaker in the Senior Secondary Division. Competing in the Senior Secondary Division, Ruby and our other finalist YAU Ronnie (F.4E) were selected among more than 1,000 contestants representing over 200 schools in Hong Kong SAR, starting from the preliminary rounds in all categories. Six out of our 19 F.1 to F.5 students participating in the preliminary round advanced into the semi-finals.
Great thanks should be extended to our volunteer coaches in the Finals: alumna Kristy LAI Ching Yau, our former Vice Principal Mrs. Anne TAM and our current teacher Ms. Irene WONG.
Speaking at the Awards Ceremony, Deputy Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong SAR Mr. Warner CHEUK Wing Hing commented on the Competition as an extraordinary chance to nurture students’ talent and deepen their connections with peers from across the nation.
Attending the Award Ceremony of the NESC 2024 was also our Vice Principal Ms. WONG Wai Shan congratulating our finalists for their commendable live performances including prepared speeches, improvised speeches & question-answer sessions.
