As a career exploration activity, 8 students from F.4E participated in the “Hong Kong STEM
Olympiad 2016” organized by the Education University of Hong Kong in July, 2016. Students were
divided in two teams, and they scored brilliant results in the competition.
Team 1: Mathematics Team Competition with Distinction
Tsang Cheuk Fung Gordon – Biology individual competition with High Distinction
Wong Po Kwan – Physics individual competition with Distinction
Tam Nok Hin – Physics individual competition with Credit
Tsang Kairos – Physics individual competition with Credit
Team 2: Mathematics Team Competition with Credit
Chan Ho Wai – Biology individual competition with Distinction
Chan Tsz Laam – Chemistry individual competition with Credit
Cheung Ho Wun – Chemistry individual competition with Credit
Ma Chun Hin – Physics individual competition with Credit
Team 1 has entered the final round of the competition. These activities aroused students’ interest in
STEM, paving the way for their further studies or careers in STEM area.
