Our former principal Mr Tong Kai Hong now Director at Amity Foundation Hong Kong, together with 15 volunteer educators and students went to Xinhui from July 14 to 21, 2019 to teach one hundred secondary school English teachers there about English acquisition and teaching. The workshop was hosted by the Xinhui Education Bureau. Also co-organizing and leading the trip was Vice Principal Mrs Tam structuring real work experience for students as teaching assistants.
Among the volunteers were LAM Yin Yin (2018-19 F5), LIU Cheuk Him (2018-19 F5), MAK Ho Ting (2018-19 F4), YEUNG Joy Qiu William (2018-19 F4), seven local and foreign educators, two students from two other local schools and one alumna of the trip now a teacher in an international school.
