校友陳大利先生於2018年4月20日返母校與中四及中五學生分享對「香港電影」的看法及個人奮鬥經過。 陳校友為本校2000年中七畢業生，升讀香港浸會大學傳理系，主修電影及電視，大學畢業後一直擔任編劇，2018年以電影《黃金花》榮獲提名第37屆香港電影金像獎新晉導演獎。陳校友近年亦積極回饋母校，參與不同師友計劃，如2016至2017年度中四級「憧憬世界」校友專訪影片製作。
