On the morning of 7 February 2026, 18 alumni and guests gathered at the newly renovated Technology and Living Room (formerly known as the Home Economics Room) to participate in the Lunar New Year Cookery Workshop (賀年甜點工作坊).

Our alumnus Mr. Ken WONG Wing-kwong hosted the event. A pharmacist by profession, Ken is also a talented amateur chef; he was a contestant on the TVB cookery show “Clash of Home Chefs” (家常便飯爭霸戰), finishing second, and he is the creator of the YouTube cookery channel “理科仔 Ken,” which has more than 30,000 subscribers.

Ken taught the participants how to make two festive desserts: Water Chestnut Pudding and Snowflake Crisps. With Ken’s detailed instructions, all participants successfully made the two desserts to share with family and friends.

The Alumni Association is grateful for the kind assistance of Ken, Ms. WONG (Technology and Living Teacher), Principal LAM, Mr. SHEK (Vice-Principal), Ms. HO (AA Chief Advisor), Ms. FAN (AA Advisor), janitor Hing Jie, and the student helpers.
