The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Alumni Association and the 3rd Meeting of the Shiu Tim Alumni Networking (STAN) were successfully held on 19 September 2026 at the Lecture Theatre. More than 30 alumni attended the events, in particular those from the Classes of 2021 and 2022 who came back to collect their Letters to the Future penned by themselves in Form 6.
During the AGM, Mr Matthew CHAN (Chairman of the AA) delivered the Annual Report on the AA’s activities in the year of 2025-26, followed by the Financial Report by Mr Chris YIP (Honorary Treasurer of the AA). The reports were approved unanimously. The members of the Executive Committee 2026-28 were also returned at the AGM, namely:

Following the AGM, the 3rd STAN Meeting took place at 11:00 a.m. This meeting, themed “Fashion & Design”, started with the welcome remarks by Mr Sunny TANG (Alumni Manager and Convener of STAN), who gave a recap of the last two editions of STAN. There followed the first keynote speech by our alumna Miss Helen LAU (Class of 2018; model, fashion design graduate & Champion of Miss Exhibition Pageant 2024), who shared with the audience her unconventional career path, guiding them through the work of an influencer — an occupation in the spotlight but the efforts behind the scenes often remain obscure.
The second keynote speaker, Mr Elvis LAM (Class of 2021; fashion designer, past President of the Students’ Union) shared his experience from being an English literature undergraduate to founding his studio for bespoke suits. The meeting ended on a high note, and alumni from different cohorts and professions had a good time sharing and mingling with one another.
The AA extends its gratitude to the outgoing Executive Committee members, Mr Matthew CHAN and Ms Monnie WONG, and warmly welcomes the re-elected and incoming Exco members. The AA would also like to thank our alumni for their unwavering support, and the AA looks forward to meeting our alumni again in the future events.
