Career Oscars, a cross-curricular project jointly organized by the Career and Life Planning Committee and the English Department, aims to enhance students’ knowledge about different careers and motivate them to take ownership of their career and life planning.

Theme Work Ethics
Aim To raise students’ awareness of the importance of work ethics in the workplace and develop an understanding of what will be expected of them in their future working life
Tasks
  • To do self-directed learning about work ethics in a chosen career field.
  • To do a 12-to-15-minute group presentation as practice for the SBA Individual Presentation (IP)
  • To complete a follow-up writing task as reflections on the learning experience and how work ethics can be developed
Awards The best presentation and the best two/three written essays of each class as well as the best presentation from the whole form were awarded book coupons.
