April 9, 2022 saw five alumni acting as adjudicators directing sharp and challenging questions at each pitcher at the Pitching Event for the Amity Apprentice Quest for Living Water 2022. It was indeed a global meeting for all as the five alumni were studying or working in different places in the world.

Greatest appreciation and gratitude go to the moderator Mr Anthony TONG, AFHK Director and our former principal who gave each pitcher valuable advice after each presentation.
The Apprentice Program is a 3-month program co-organised by the Amity Foundation, Hong Kong (AFHK), SKHTSTSS Alumni Association Ltd (AA Ltd) and SKHTST Career and Life Planning (CLP) Committee starting March 18, 2022. All F4 and F5 students were invited to join Stage 1 Individual Challenge in which eight students with high-quality proposals were shortlisted to enter the Pitching Event to present their proposals and answer impromptu questions from adjudicators.
The three winning students would each receive a trophy and cash prizes, and would be assisted to set up a fundraising scheme through AFHK as well as promoting their quests on its website and social media.
The adjudicators were so impressed by all the students’ fluency and confidence in pitching their quests in English that all pitchers were encouraged to continue with Stage 2 Group Challenge of the Quest on a one-to-one mentorship with our adjudicators to learn valuable life skills raising funds to help people in need.
The online Pitching Event was well attended by our principal Mr WANG Yu Tai and the principal of SKH Bishop Hall Secondary School Mr KAM Wai Ming. Hosting the event were the AA Ltd advisor Ms CHENG Yin Wo, CLP teachers Ms LAM Kit Shan, Ms WONG Wai Shan (current vice principal), and Mr CHAN Cheuk Fai and former vice principal Mrs Anne Tam as well as the Amity staff. Observing the event was also Justin LIU (a primary 6 student) invited by AFHK and SKHTST to pilot the whole Quest before mid-March, 2022.
